4.1 הכנה לְפֶסַח Passover Preparations

The year is 2022. The Covid 19 pandemic still rages. Can Jewish families get together to celebrate the Seder?

	כְבר בִתְחילת חודֶש אדר כוּלם במישְפחה דיבּרו על נושא אחד: חג הפֶסַח.
האם לִנְסועַ לבית של סבא וסבתא ולַחגוג שם בְיחד?
שנים רבּות כך נהגְנו לעשות. זה היה המינְהג. אז מה נִשְתַּנה השנה הזאת מכל השנים?
קרונה! המַגֵפה שֶפוֹקֶדֶת את כל העולם. .
הַאִם מְסוּכּן מִדיי לְהיפָּגֵש וְלערוך אֶת הסֵדֶר בחֶדֶר אֶחד שֶיִהְיֶה צפוּף מְאוד?
הַאִם לִלְבוש (או יותר נכון, לַעֲטות) מסֵכות? וְהֲלֹא אי אֶפְשר לאכול כאשר לובְשים מַסֵכה!

בשנה שֶעבְרה ערכְנוּ סֵדֵר מישְפחְתי ב-"זוּם" זה היה נחמד, כמובן,

אבל אי אפשר היה לשיר ב-זוּם וְבמישְפחה שֶלנוּ כוּלם אוהבים לשיר!

טוב, בֵינְתיים קיבַלְנו החְלטה לַעֲשׂות את הסדר ביחד.

עכְשיו צריכים להזמין כרְטיסֵי טיסה.

צְריכים גם לִשְׂכּור מכוניות וחֲדרים בְמלון.

פעם, כולם שהוּ בבית של סבּא וסבְתא. אפילו ישְנו על הריצְפּה!

אבל לא עוד! יֵש יותֵר מִדיי אנשים. המישְפחה גדלה. אה! . . . היו זְמנים !

סֵדֶר תֵימָנִי

Already at the beginning of the month of Adar everyone in the family spoke about one subject:the>passover holiday.

Whether to travel to grandpa and grandma's house and to celebrate together there.

(for) many years that is what we were accustomed to do. So Why is this year different from all the years?

Corona! The plague that is being visited on all the world.

Is it too dangerous to meet and hold the seder in one room that will be very crowded?

Should we wear (or rather don) masks? Why it's impossible to eat when you're wearing a mask.

Last year we held a family seder on "ZOOM. It was nice, naturally.

But it was impossible to sing on ZOOM and in our family everybody loves to sing.

OK, meanwhile we have decided to do the seder together.

Now we have to order flight tickets.

We also have to rent cars and rooms in a hotel.

At one time everyone stayed at Saba and Savta's house. We even slept on the floor!

But no more! There are too many people. The family has grown. Ah! Those were the days!
